To some people, when they hear the word “Vespa” immediately a thought of a colorful scooter comes to mind. Relatively affordable and beyond easy on the wallet while at the gas pump, Vespa’s are an urban favorite for hip-looking guys and females that want to make a fashion statement without using a handbag. The Vespa phenomenon spans the globe, a function of the brand’s rich heritage that is taken very seriously by the executives at the company. It’s also taken seriously with collectors of vintage Vespas. With the release of two new models called the Sprint and Primavera, which doesn’t happen often at the company, Vespa brings TheStreet’s Brian Sozzi behind the scenes at the company’s key Brooklyn, New York dealer. Vespa is a company rooted in tradition but clearly focused on the future.
