Jim Cramer says cheaper oil is going to bring about some M&A but not necessarily in the way you want it. Cramer explains that now is not the time to search for take out candidates in the energy space. He says before a pickup in M&A in the energy space occurs the valuations will have to go lower and valuations will come down once we start seeing over-levered drillers collapse. Cramer says there will be some oil companies that will inevitably go bust, bringing down the valuations even more. He says that’s when you strike. So to those who want to buy Anadarko, Jim Cramer says, not yet. You have to wait for some bad news to hit before you can start buying that kind of stock.
