For Thursday, December 18th 2014, we keep an eye on three notable earnings including drugstore chain Rite Aid (RAD), consulting firm Accenture (ACN), and athletic apparel company Nike (NKE). The world’s largest footwear and athletic apparel company is scheduled to announce its fiscal second quarter earnings results, along with its ‘futures orders.’ Nike guided for a high single-digit growth in revenue for the period, after boasting an impressive 15% growth in its fiscal first quarter. On the economic calendar, we note weekly jobless claim figures, Philadelphia Fed’s business outlook survey, and leading indicators.
