Millennials were once scared of jumping into the stock market, but they are now confident enough to start investing for retirement, said Ram Subramaniam, President of Fidelity Brokerage Services. Subramaniam added that the millennial generation is extremely tech-savvy and demands innovation, especially for mobile devices. He said pricing remains competitive in the brokerage industry which makes the quality of service and fast execution far more important. Finally, Subramaniam said investors continue to move assets into exchange traded funds both for diversification purposes as well as to reduce single stock risk.
