On Wednesday, January 7th, we look for quarterly results from Monsanto and Supervalu. We’ll also get a reading on private sector hiring and FOMC minutes will be released. Monsanto is looking for lower EPS after a disappointing annual report and Supervalu is looking to cash in on a string of successful reports. Also, the ADP Employment Report is expected at 8:15am eastern on Wednesday January 7 and then the Gallup Jobs Creation Index is expected at 8:30. Additionally, the market will be reading tea leaves into the FOMC minutes when they are posted in the afternoon at 2PM. Wednesday, January 7 is expected to bring some news, perhaps some of it good now that the markets have been roiled by two days of tough trades.
