The global spa industry now boasts $100 billion in revenue annually, according to SRI International. Mike Indursky, President of Bliss says the major trend right now is overall wellness, not just diet and exercise. It is also about stress management and reduction and skincare. Indursky explains Bliss has responded by broadening its services to reach that need and client response has been fantastic, prompting the company to create a membership program which has been a resounding success. Another component has been social integration and mobile. Indursky says a lot of growth is coming internationally, particularly in China and Latin America.
