Jose Munoz, executive vice president of the Nissan Motor Co. and chairman of its North American operations, said that increases in the car business in 2014 were quite favorable, leaving the company’s truck business as the ripest for growth opportunity. The Japanese automaker this year is rolling out the new edition of its Murano large sport-utility vehicle and next year will begin delivering the new version of its Titan fullsize pickup truck. Titan is fifth in sales behind pickups from General Motors, Ford, Ram (Chrysler) and Toyota. Munoz said the 2 million unit segment presents a large opportunity for growth.
