Noodles & Company CFO Dave Boennighausen says the fast casual chain has the potential to open 2,500 outlets nationwide in the long term. Right now, Noodles has 439 restaurants in 32 states. Boennighausen said he expects Noodles to open new outposts at a rate of between 12 and 14 percent a year. Boennighausen said the restaurant chain will see a modest increase in the price of chicken in 2015 which will translate to a $0.20 cent increase for the consumer. Boennighausen said customers are demanding higher quality ingredients and they understand that those commodity costs are a little higher. TheStreet’s Ruben Ramirez reports from Orlando.
