Eurasia Group’s Europe Practice Head Mujtaba Rahman says if you’re looking for the region that will likely cause the biggest headaches for international business, there’s no need to look beyond Europe. The region tops the business risk firm’s list ahead of the effects of a China slowdown, weak incumbents in Brazil, Colombia, South Africa and Nigeria and issues in Turkey. Why? Well, Rahman said there are three factors: increasing populism in southern European countries, signs that tension between Russia and Ukraine will continue to escalate and the most material blowback, ISIS.
