The European Central Bank is expected to announce a major stimulus package on Thursday, along the lines of the quantitative easing program the U.S. relied on for six years. This as sluggish growth and fears over deflation continue to take center stage. But how can the ECB structure a package that will work, given the 19 countries in Europe that use the Euro? TheStreet’s Scott Gamm speaks with Brenda Kelly, chief market strategist at IG Markets to discuss how such a potential bond stimulus would work, how soon results will be seen and what investors in the United States need to know to profit from Europe’s economic woes.
