For most people attending the 2015 Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah, travel likely involved trudging through the airport and waiting in some sort of line. That wasn’t the case for a select few movie executives, filmmakers and actors who were invited to take the Delta Festival Shuttle from Los Angeles to Salt Lake City and were treated to a VIP experience complete with brunch, live entertainment and swag. Delta’s West Coast Director of Global Sales Ranjan Goswami said, ‘We thought instead of activating at a film festival, what if we operated a Delta film festival shuttle flight. That way, Delta is really relevant in the conversation and we can curate a really unique experience for our customers.’ Goswami says plans are already in the works for a similar VIP shuttle from Los Angeles to Austin, Texas for SXSW. TheStreet’s Ruben Ramirez caught up with Goswami at the Salt Lake City airport.
