Motorola unveiled three smartphone models on Monday that it will sell in China. Motorola hasn’t sold phones in China in the past few years. The company is trying to set itself apart by allowing buyers of its flagship Moto X to customize their phones. Buyers can pick colors, features and exterior materials. The 16 gigabyte version will start at $540. The Moto X Pro will have a more powerful processor, bigger screen, and other features. And the Moto G, will start at $212 for an 8GB model. All three models will run Google’s Android operating system. Computer maker Lenovo Group bought Motorola last year as part of its effort to become a global competitor in wireless devices. Motorola and Lenovo say their combined sales would make them the world’s number 3 smartphone producer behind Apple and Samsung.
