Jim Cramer weighs in on the New England Patriots’ Super Bowl victory that was clinched after a controversial call by Seattle Seahawks coach Pete Carroll to throw the ball on second down at the one-yard line in the final seconds of the game. That pass, which was intercepted by New England’s Malcolm Butler, will go down as the dumbest in the Super Bowl, according to Cramer. But he says it’s important to remember that Seattle’s loss cannot solely be blamed on that call. Cramer stresses that much of Seattle’s defense was injured and really let Patriots quarterback Tom Brady have his way in the number of completions. He also reveals whether Carroll could be out of a job as a result of his call and what players are now likely to move up fantasy owners’ radars next season.
