On Wednesday, February 4, Wall Street will be keeping an eye out for financial results from General Motors. Analysts are looking for earnings per share of $0.83 on sales of $40.1 billion. The company on Tuesday reported an 18% year-over-year jump in January sales. The Clorox Company (CLX) and insurance giant Humana (HUM) also report earnings before the opening bell. Plus, a variety of economic data is set to be released on Wednesday, beginning with the ADP Employment Report at 8:15am eastern, which typically follows Friday’s official jobs report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics. At 10am, the ISM Non-Manufacturing Index is released, along with the EIA Petroleum Status report at 10:30am. TheStreet’s Scott Gamm has details from New York.
