The California housing market is in excellent shape for the Spring selling season due to job growth and low rates, said Larry Webb CEO of The New Home Company. Webb added that 2014 was a transition year for the company in which they brought 6,000 lots to market. He said 2015 will be about growth and operational excellence for the homebuilder as they initiate 15 new housing programs and move forward on 3 master plans. Webb said the tech boom in San Jose is not pricing buyers out of his homes because his company’s houses are in an affordable price range. Finally, Webb said Asian buyers are still abundant and are not being affected by the strong dollar.
