Major U.S. markets closed flat Wednesday after a choppy day of trading. The Dow Jones Industrial managed to recover in the last hour of trading after dropping more than 100 points earlier in the session as Greece weighed on investors’ minds. Tech stocks led Wednesday, propping the Nasdaq to close with gains. Oil futures fell after crude stocks gained more than four times expected last week. Analysts on Wall Street including at Goldman Sachs (GS) have said oil prices have yet to hit a bottom. On the earnings front, PepsiCo (PEP) was rewarded after beating profit and revenue estimates. AOL (AOL), however missed revenue expectations despite beating earnings estimates. The company blamed the strong U.S. dollar. Walmart (WMT) weighed on the blue chips. Investors didn’t like the world’s largest retailer’s plans to build new supercenters in Canada.
