Lois Sasson’s approximately $16,000 Ambassador set ensures a man is dressed to the nines for any special occasion. For the special lady in their lives, bankers with more than a couple bucks to burn may opt for Tom Ford’s Charlotte tote. Comprised of shiny alligator skin accented with gold galvanized brass hardware, this accessory comes with a price tag of $27,500. And some will spend even more — despite the National Retail Federation’s expectation that the average person in the U.S. will spend just about $142 on Valentine’s Day this year.
