Keep an eye on shares of DreamWorks Animation (DWA) in Wednesday’s session. The struggling animation studio reported a fourth quarter loss after posting a profit a year ago. DreamWorks reported a quarterly loss that was significantly better compared to estimates, but revenue missed Wall Street expectations. The company’s fourth quarter earnings were primarily driven by the under-performance of its movie, ‘Penguins of Madagascar.’ It had a disappointing domestic performance, which put a dent in the company’s bottom line. DreamWorks is also undergoing a massive restructuring. Shares of DreamWorks have fallen more than 35% over the past year. TheStreet’s Kurumi Fukushima reports in New York.
