After a solid 2014 for freight transport providers, some industry experts expect truckers to drive a rise in mergers and acquisitions this year. Lou Whiteman, senior writer for The Deal, explains why the trucking cycle is currently in a sweet spot for M&A. From building margin pressure to recent sellers receiving especially strong prices, Whiteman says potential logistics targets are likely to be tempted to consider selling.
