Apple and its fans prepare for a big announcement Monday, where it’s widely expected the company will unveil the Apple Watch. While there are other smartwatches available, industry analysts note that Apple has been able to transform other technologies such as mp3 players, tablets and smartphones. Apple CEO Tim Cook has already said the basic version of the Apple Watch will cost $350 but some reports say higher end models could run into the thousands. Investors will be looking for answers to some specific questions from today’s announcement, mainly what apps will be available, the exact launch date and all of the watch’s capabilities.
