For the week of March 16th, we outline what to watch on Wall Street. All eyes are focused on the Federal Reserve’s interest rate announcement expected on Wednesday, following the two day Federal Open Market Committee policy meeting. The Fed will debate the timing of the interest rate hike. On the economic calendar, we note the industrial production index, the housing starts report, the FOMC meeting announcement, and weekly jobless claims. On the earnings front, there are nine notable earnings throughout the week. Wall Street awaits quarterly financial results from Adobe Systems (ADBE), DSW (DSW), FedEx (FDX), General Mills (GIS), Williams-Sonoma (WSM), Nike (NKE), Darden Restaurants (DRI), KB Home (KBH), and Tiffany & Co.
