On Wednesday, March 18th all eyes will be on the highly anticipated Fed’s policy announcement. The Fed will issue its forecasts for economic growth, inflation and interest rates at 2 p.m. eastern. Fed Chair Janet Yellen will follow with a press conference at 2:30 p.m. in Washington. Also in Washington, the members of the Federal Communications Commission will testify before the Senate Commerce Committee on the new net-neutrality rules. Also on the economic calendar is the Energy Information Administration’s weekly report on petroleum inventories. We also keep our eyes on notable earnings including FedEx Corp (FDX), General Mills Inc (GIS), and Williams-Sonoma Inc (WSM). TheStreet’s Kurumi Fukushima reports in New York.
