Wix.com raised its first quarter and full year guidance for 2015 on the back of an increasing in revenue following its Super Bowl ad featuring Brett Favre. CEO Avishai Abrahami said, ‘We had a surprise where February was accelerating faster than January…I think a lot of it can be attributed to our increase in advertising, mainly the Super Bowl.’ Abrahami says the ads are aimed at raising the company’s recognition among consumers who want to develop a website and run a business online. ‘We have to be able to be as recognized as Apple or Coca Cola and going from being a new company to that is a huge challenge,’ said Abrahami.
