Brookfield Asset Management will continue to move higher due to increasing institutional demand for real assets like ports and office buildings, said Ira Rothberg, portfolio manager for the Hennessy Focus Fund. Rothberg added that Brookfield has a superb track record for rewarding investors and compounding shareholder value. He is also bullish on O’Reilly Automotive shares, saying the auto parts seller continues to expand its store base and has the best comps in the industry as it takes market share. Finally, Rothberg is positive on Encore Capital Group because of the influx of new receivables that will be hitting the market this year.
