Tesla Motors drove lower after the company outlined new tech developments, making it TheStreet’s Move of the Day. In a conference call Thursday, CEO Elon Musk outlined new software upgrades which will guide vehicles to the nearest charging stations when low on battery. Musk said the improvements will make it nearly impossible to run out of range. Additionally, the automaker also moved one step closer to self-driving vehicles with its new automatic-steering feature for Model S sedans. But shortly after the update, shares pulled lower as investors followed the old adage ‘Buy on the rumor, sell on the fact.’
