Facebook may change the way we get our news. With 1.4 billion users, the social media site has become a vital source of traffic. The New York Times reports that in recent months, Facebook has been quietly holding talks with at least a half dozen media companies about hosting their content. According to the report, the companies are talking about splitting advertising revenue that would be posted alongside the news articles. The proposed changes would allow news stories to be inside Facebook rather than making users tap a link to go to an external site. Facebook shares recently hit an all time high.
