Taco Bell is serving up some new breakfast options. The fast food chain is hoping to muscle in on the morning market with the introduction of a new breakfast biscuit. Over six thousand U.S. restaurants will roll out the new taco shaped sandwich on Thursday. Customers will be offered fillings such as chicken and gravy or jalapeno honey. There will also be combinations of eggs, cheese, bacon and sausage on the menu. At the moment breakfast accounts for only around 6 percent of Taco Bell’s sales. Analysts estimate that market leader McDonald’s accounts for around 25% percent of breakfast orders.
