Tesla’s (TSLA) first-quarter deliveries impressed Wall Street, making it TheStreet’s Move of the Day. Shares of the automaker spiked after the company issued a first-quarter update, reporting 10,030 vehicle deliveries over the first three months of the year, a 55% year-on-year increase. Tesla has set a full-year delivery goal of 55,000 units with the majority of those to be moved over the third and fourth quarters this year. The delivery update was issued Friday morning, but with markets closed for Good Friday, investors hadn’t a chance to act upon the news until they reopened on Monday. Tesla shares surged more than 6%.
