The minutes of the Federal Open Market Committee’s March meeting were released, giving investors a more detailed account of what took place. The minutes showed central bankers remain unsure of when the first liftoff will take place. Some members prefer a June rate hike, while others favor lifting rates later in 2015. The Fed also removed the ‘patience’ language from its statement during the March meeting, though its stance on when rates will rise still remains vague. TheStreet’s Scott Gamm speaks with Michelle Meyer, Deputy Head of U.S. Economics at Bank of America Merrill Lynch to discuss the March minutes, which does not account for last Friday’s dismal jobs report.
