Look out for American Express (AXP) in Friday’s trading session. The company reported a mixed first-quarter earnings late Thursday. The credit card company posted earnings above analysts’ estimates. However, revenue missed Wall Street projections. The company cited the negative impact from a stronger dollar on its international business. American Express still got a boost from higher card member spending. Still, it advised that full-year 2015 earnings would stay relatively flat. Shares of American Express ended the regular session in the green, but slipped into negative territory following the earnings release. TheStreet’s Kurumi Fukushima reports in New York.
