Wimbledon has been host to a number of thrilling matches over the years and on Sunday the men’s final between Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz became another to add to the list.
The final went into a deciding fifth set as the world’s two finest male players treated fans to a thrilling contest.
Alcaraz, the world No.1 who is aiming for a first Wimbledon title, came from a set down to take a 2-1 lead before Djokovic levelled the match by winning a tense fourth set.

After nearly four hours, nothing separated the two as they went into the fifth set.
Should Djokovic beat Alcaraz, he will equal Margaret Court’s all-time record of 24 grand slam titles and also equal Roger Federer’s men’s record of eight Wimbledon titles.
