McDonald’s (MCD) is in crisis but its new CEO hopes to start to change that today. CEO Steve Easterbrook will give the first thorough look at his strategy to revive the fast food giant. Easterbrook took the helm at McDonald’s on March 1st. He repeatedly has said that he is a change agent that wants to make McDonald’s into a “modern, progressive burger company”. Among the changes that could be announced today-shorter wait times, improvements in food quality, and simplifying the menu. Not only will investors be watching McDonald’s meeting today but also franchise owners who are important stakeholders who’ve been less than impressed with the changes announced so far.
