TheStreet’s Jim Cramer is keeping an eye on shares of Kohl’s (KSS) as the retailer prepares to release first quarter results before the open Thursday. He says he’s expecting a good quarter from the department store chain. Cramer says he knows people want to leave retail because they’re looking at the aggregate retail sales but he thinks those may no longer be as good a tell anymore because they don’t have Amazon, they don’t have Apple. Cramer says you want to go with Nordstrom because the future looks bright for their off the rack offering which is growing by leaps and bounds. Kohl’s is a turnaround and it’s doing a very good job. He says the stock has run a lot, if it comes in, that’s when you buy.
